Walter: "Sister Walton... What's your horoscope??"

Ha I don't have much to share about my week... :P the work is moving kind of slow for us, but we keep trucking along and trying to do better! :)
Beautiful View From Our Apt -
Yes that is a Wal-Mart Parking Lot

Well, we were inside for basically all of Monday and Tuesday. Joy. Ha we cleaned the apartment, wrote letters, worked on Areabook/iPad stuff and ate food. It was the best. I also taught hermana buys how to French braid :) Tuesday night, we also got to eat at an awesome member family's house. Good stuff.

We weren't able to teach very much this week, and the lessons we did teach were to active or less active members. Which is good! We love them so much! But we have an open schedule we want to fill up with people progressing to baptism. And were not finding any yet. Hermana buys and I are trying really hard to get better  at contacting, but even then, most people don't want anything to do with us. But we did have some luck in finding and meeting a couple former investigators! We're hoping now is their time, and that there can be some progression there :) t we gotta keep searching, keep finding!
Cookie/Brownie Experiment -- What to do when
you can't go outside since it is too cold!

I met a polish guy on the bus the other day- I don't know what his name was, but it was along the lines of Walter. Ha he's this sweet, quirky older guy. That was a funny conversation. He talked to me for a bit about where I was from, what nationality I was, etc. Then he was like,
"Yeah, yeah... Hey, what's your name, Teresa??"
Ha he must've thought I was ACTUALLY a nun....
"Ha no, close! It's Sister Walton"
Walter: "oh, ok, Sister Walton... What's your horoscope??"
Haaaaa yeah, I don't know how humorous that exchange is to you, but I died laughing about it after I got off the bus (I had to hold in laughing the whole ride..) Sometimes people don't really realize how awkward or funny missionary life is...

This week, I finished the war chapters, Helamam, and read in 3rd Nephi about the signs of Christs birth that they saw here, and also the signs of his death, and right now I'm reading about when the resurrected Jesus Christ spent time ministering to the people here in the ancient Americas. I love it so much :) it's so beautiful, and I love the Book of Mormon!! It truly is another testament of Jesus Christ. It helps us understand more about the Savior that we all know and love.. Seriously.

Ha I'm not really sure how to end this. But that's all I have to say . Love you all so much! :)
